Securing a campsite at Enchand Rock State Park can be a challenge.  Brown Chicken Brown Cow Ranch offers a convenient alternative set away from the crowds, yet close enough to enjoy the same rugged Hill Country beauty. Located on a sister granite outcropping just 20 miles away, the ranch features 10 secluded campsites and 2 RV sites, thoughtfully spread across the property.

This is a quieter, more exclusive camping experience, with an average of two acres per campsite, giving you room to breathe, wander, and truly settle in. Sites are dispersed throughout the ranch, offering greater privacy and a naturally preserved landscape where open skies, native terrain, and peaceful surroundings replace the bustle of the state park. 

Choose from 10 unique styles of naturally landscaped campsites, each thoughtfully placed across the land with its own sense of space and seclusion. Most sites are tucked among the trees, where soft solar lights guide the way after dark and stone fire rings invite long evenings by the flames. As night settles in, the ranch opens to a clear canopy of stars - an ever-present companion to every stay.

Two quiet, tree-lined RV sites are carved into the land, set on sturdy crushed granite pads and surrounded by the natural calm of the woods. Each site offers 30-amp electric and water hookups, with optional 6-MPG flow available for an additional fee. As daylight fades, the trees close in, the stars come out, and the simple comforts of a well-set camp make it easy to stay awhile.
